Scenedle is a daily video-guessing game. Community ("user-created") puzzles let signed-in players build a puzzle from a catalog title and its official YouTube video; the only user-supplied content is short clue text and an optional puzzle name. Videos are embedded from YouTube and images are YouTube's own thumbnails — Scenedle does not host uploaded video or image files.

Reporting a concern

Every community puzzle has a “Report this puzzle” link. You can also email our designated agent:

Email: [email protected]
Subject: “DMCA / Copyright”

Please include: (1) identification of the work, (2) the puzzle URL (e.g. scenedle.com/u/…), (3) your contact information, (4) a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized, (5) a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act, and (6) your physical or electronic signature.

What happens next

Valid notices result in prompt removal of the reported puzzle. Puzzles that accrue multiple reports are automatically hidden pending review. We maintain and enforce a policy of terminating the accounts of repeat infringers.

Counter-notice

If your puzzle was removed and you believe that was a mistake, reply to the removal notice (or email the address above) with a counter-notice containing the same identifying details and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
